2019 In Hindsight
5 things I am proud of this year
Joining the Touch and Rippa Rugby team. I think it was a very fun experience, I learnt that you should give new things a go even if it seems hard. Another thing I am proud of is how many PB4L prizes I have gotten and my writing and math, I've learnt language features and almost all of my times table.
5 things I am grateful for
- I am grateful for being in Room 10, it is such a supportive and fun class. I am grateful for my friends, they are very caring and whenever I am struggling with something, they are wiling to help. I am grateful for my teacher, she is very kind and generous.
I am grateful for being in an amazing school filled with talented students.

Fairy Bread
Today in Room 10, we made fairy bread for our buddy class activity with Room 1. We first get a piece of white, sliced bread cut in triangles and put it on top of a paper towel. Then we put icing on the bread. We had the options yellow and green. The bread represented the top part of a Christmas tree. Then we had to add sprinkles on top of the icing. We made the icing by icing sugar, food coloring and water. I was buddies with Faiana and Jasmine. We sat on a table and Miss Chand started calling groups up to her table to add icing and sprinkle. When it was our groups turn, I put on green icing and marshmallows onto my bread.

Christmas Ornanment
In Room 10 we have been creating Christmas ornaments made out of 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of water and 1 cup of salt. First, we added the 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of salt into a bowl. Then we added water little by little and mixed. Then we shaped it into a Christmas ornament. Here is mine that I have made. I had a lot of fun creating this! Merry Christmas!

Room 10's Term 4 Assembly Reflection
On the 15th of November, Room 10 had their second assembly, when I was on stage, I felt nervous, I had goosebumps on my legs and arms, my heart was racing. When the bell rang, I felt anxious! Classes started coming one by one and I tried my best to think that no ones there but it was hard. I present four things during the assembly, sharing my chick and Buddha presentation, and showing my chick and Buddha art. I think what went well was my presentations. I showed confidence and tried my best! But, of course not everything can go well, I think that Room 10 can work on the spacing while we are dancing everyone was all over the place and it we were all bunched up like a pot of flowers. But, over all, I think our assembly was one of the best out of the whole school!

What I Did During The Holidays
What I Did During The Holidays
Have you ever been Ice Skating? Well I have. Twice! Today, I will be sharing with you what I’ve done in the holidays. In the holidays, I went Ice Skating with a few friends and their family. I woke up at 8:30 in the morning to get ready and walk to Myat’s house. Myat is my friend who invited me to Ice Skating. I wore a dark blue jacket, black cozy sweatpants and a white shirt that had summer printed in black.
After I got ready, I walked to Myat’s black and orange two story house. While I was walking through the silent neighborhood, I heard noises. “Woof woof”. I spotted two dogs circling around the street. One black and one ginger. I got scared and turned to walk the other way but the two dogs went to the park on the other side of the street.
I noticed Myat and her two other friends waving at me through her bedroom window. I smiled and waved back. I knocked on the navy blue door. “Knock knock”. My friends giggled while they opened the door because they saw what happened with the two dogs.
We played graveyard while waiting for our three other friends which felt like forever. When they finally arrived, we were all split into different cars because there were too many people. I was in a car with Myat’s brother, his girlfriend, and my two other friends. The car was very fun! We listened to music and beat the other car even though we left 10 minutes after them.
When we arrived at Botany Ice Skating, we went inside and paid for the tickets. For one child was $15 and I had $20. Myat’s brother said that we would pay as a family so it would be cheaper so I handed him my $20. He never gave me back my change.
When we entered the rink, it was freezing cold! There were lots of people and colorful lights hanging from the ceiling. I went to get my skates and my right one was too tight and I had to deal with it for the whole hour. My ankle hurt.
I stepped on the ice and wasn't really confident so I held onto the rail for the first 10 minutes. Then I skated in the middle and went around in circles for the next 50 minutes. I fell on my butt three times. It hurt. It was really hard to get up since I was in the circle without the rail. One of my friends fell on the ice into a split. It was super funny.
I really had a good time and enjoyed Ice skating with my friends.I hope I can go there for my next two week holidays.

Last Person Standing
I was woken again by the dreadful dream. The same one. My face is drifting by all the sweat. I shrieked at the top of my lungs, "Mum! Dad?" I didn't get a response. I ram downstairs and was in shock! They weren't there. I checked the neighbors house but they weren't there either. I took a glance at my room and was disturbed with what I saw. There it was. Something huge and dark with ferocious looking teeth! And dark, red eyes like a devils stare. I was so frightened. But then, I realized, it was all a dream.
