Today, Room 11 was learning about Graffiti Art. We had to answer these 8 questions with answers in a text.

Dear Life

Today's Kia Kaha Task was to identify the 5 most important things in your life and write to explain why they're important. I chose my teachers, my friends, my family and my life. 

Writing this made me realise the many great things I have in life, be thankful for the life you have and never take your life for granted, learn to appreciate the things you have. I also added a photo collage of my friends and family.

Art Colouring Book - Summer Learning Journey

For today's Summer Learning Journey, I chose the art colouring book task. For this

task, you had to choose a painting and try to recreate the colours. On the left is the real painting and on the right is the one I did. There isn't much of a difference except the thin black outline.

Princess Mount Ledang Polyline

Here is a polyline drawing of Princess Mount Ledang. Me and my friend Sar Yar Chan created this using google drawing as part of our task for Myths And Legends LCS.

The Princess Of Mount Ledang

Today's LCS story is the Malaysian Folktales "The Princess Of Mount Ledang". We had to watch a video and identify the demands the princess had requested from the Sultan. Chan and I worked together to create this. At the bottom are some pictures from the film.

Treasure Map Code - Summer Learning Journey

Today, I chose the Treasure Map Code Summer Learning Journey task. For this task you had to try and decrypt the cipher by watching a youtube video showing you how. I found out the clue said "This beach has lion rocks" and found that the answer was Piha Beach.

Cybersmart: Bookmarks Activity 4

 

Todays cybersmart task - slide 1 was to explain which student had the most appropriate bookmarks on their bookmark bar and slide 2 was to show all of your bookmarks and explain why you have it there.

The Legend Of Telesa

                              

Todays LCS task was to watch a video about "The Legend Of Telesa" and then re-tell the story in our own words. On the right are some pictures I included from the video I watched.

Maths Exponents - Week 5: Wednesday

For today's math task, Miss Tupou has created 10 questions for us to answer. Here is how I worked it out. For example: 5.53 - 4.95 = I change the number closest to whole so 4.95 + 0.5 = 5.00 and I add another 0.5 to 5.53. Now my equation is 5.58 - 5.00 = 0.58.

Today, I decided to do the Optical Illusions Summer Learning Journey task. I made this drawing using google draw, shapes and polyline.

Lockdown Special 2: Get Ready For Google Meets

For cybersmart today, we had to make a copy of a presentation and follow the instructions on each slide. The task was to finish a poster and explain why it is important to have your camera on, have your mic on mute, to sit still and find a quiet place. Here are the things I came up with.

Exponents Maths Week 5: Tuesday

For today's math task, we had to have someone from home make up 10 questions similar to yesterday's work - solving subtraction problems with hundredths by changing the second number into a whole number.

For today's cybersmart task, we had to take a screenshot of our class site, class blog, school site, and our own blog. We had to create a google drawing including all the 4 screenshots and add labels to it. Here is what I have created.
