Maths 27/09/21

Today's math task was to make a decision - First option: 5 dollars each week, second option: spin the dice each week with numbers 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 10. I have spun the dice for each week and calculated the total giving $236 while the first option gives $260. I think that 5 dollars each week would be the better choice because you never know what numbers you're going to roll - most likely going to be low.

Cybersmart Challenge 24: Replying to comments

WALT: reply to comments in our blog that are positive and keep the conversation going. For this cybersmart task, we had to write a reply to Johns comment using a line from each section. In the reply you had to thank the person who’s left you a comment, answer any questions they may have asked you, and ask them a question about their comment to keep the conversation going.

Robotics Tech Week 4

For this weeks tech rotation, I looked at algorithms an algorithm is a LIST OF STEPS that solves a problem. It is a set of instructions. Our task for today was to write different

algorithms and place them into input, algorithm and output.

What might we value in a friend?

Our task for LCS today was to write down the top 5 qualities we look for in a friend and compare our answers with another classmate. I compared questions with my classmate Ngwe Sin. Then, we answered some questions - which were the same, which were different and If you have many that are the same, why do you think that is?

In Room 11 today, each of us had to create our own monsters. We could build our own monsters by copy and pasting the features. Here is my monster I have created. 

Continent Study

This is one of my tasks for Fun Friday. For this task, we were to choose a continent we'd like to get to know more of. I chose the continent Asia. I included 10 interesting facts, included an image of the continent on a world map, the population of the whole continent and a list of all the countries that belong in Asia.

Our TLW task for today was to:

Our LCS task for today was to watch a video about how to make Otai - (fruity Tongan beverage) and write down the recipe. We were to use the Pak'n Save website to find the prices of each ingredient to feed Room 11 = 24 students. I estimated how much ingredients I needed.

Robotics Week 2

In Tech, I am in rotation 3 - robotics. Today, we learnt how to create different codes using the site Tinkercad. We did codes on - 1. Writing a message, 2. Beating Heart, 3. Coding the A and B buttons, 4. Dice, and 5. Rock, Paper Scissors.
