My first task was to check out the sources of information John has found. Move the arrows next to the sources that I think are the most and least reliable, and my second task was to write which source of information I think is mostly likely accurate, and why?

Cybersmart Challenge 26: Smart Media - Create your own Images "Google Draw"

WALT: create our own images in google draw. Our task was to create an image for the following text using shapes, lines and other tools.

Cybersmart Challenge 25: Attribute Images

WALT: give the creators of images the credit that they deserve when we use their images in our work. This process is called "image attribution".

Cybersmart Challenge 24: Replying to comments

WALT: reply to comments in our blog that are positive and keep the conversation going. For this cybersmart task, we had to write a reply to Johns comment using a line from each section. In the reply you had to thank the person who’s left you a comment, answer any questions they may have asked you, and ask them a question about their comment to keep the conversation going.

WALT: share comments that are positive, thoughtful, and helpful. For this lesson we are identifying the parts of a comment including a greeting, positive, thoughtful, and helpful.

Here is my cybersmart challenge for today. Challenge 23: Scams and Phishing. Our task was to write whether we think the email is legit or fake, then explain why we think this in the box below. 

Cybersmart Challenge 22 - Empowerment

WALT: learn what to do when we receive and email or comment that: we don't like, is not positive, thoughtful, helpful, makes us feel sad or uncomfortable. This is my cybersmart challenge I have completed for today.

Cybersmart Challenge 20: Commenting On Docs

 

WALT: effectively comment and communicate within our google docs.

Our task was to comment on a random fact, suggestion for a synonym word and write a positive thoughtful , helpful comment. Then, we had added in an action request for a friend.

Cybersmart Challenge 7: Google Drawn Fish

WALT: use google drawings more confidently. Watch the video but learn to use the tools as you create your image. Make sure you practise using your: group tools, line colour.

For this task we had to use different shapes and tools to create an underwater scene. Here is my drawing I have created.

Cybersmart Challenge 21: Email Etiquettes

WALT: write emails following the proper email etiquettes. It is important to distinguish emails from other types of communication on the internet.

For todays cybersmart task, I had to write an email to the Manaiakalani Organisation explaining why I think that Glen Taylor School is the best school in the world.

Cybersmart Challenge 14: Quality Blog Post

For this task, we learnt how to create a quality blog post. I learnt that in a quality blog post, there are 3 important things you need to have: great unique title, description of the learning and keywords as labels. Enjoy!
